ACS-450 – LTE450 CAT 1 M.2 Modem

The Duragon ACS-450 brings LTE450 connectivity to ER- and DR-series routers, which have a M.2 modem socket. This CAT 1 LTE module is capable of supporting all the most commonly used 450MHz LTE bands. The modem does not include SIM interfaces onboard, the SIM and eSIM are to be mounted on the router’s system board. ER- and DR-series routers, which have multiple M.2 modem sockets, the ACS-450 can be used together with a MIMO 2x2 5G modem. This scenario enables the use of public 5G and LTE450 networks together depending on use cases.

Apart from providing a data and SMS interfaces, the ACS-450 module supports voice calls. The audio output of the modem drives a 3.1W mono amplifier, which can connect to an external power amplifier of small speaker. The MIC input likewise is MONO, with internal active MIC-Bias circuitry. An external audio adapter is available with a 3.5mm audio jack.

Two status LEDs are supported, the modem status LED is located on the modem board, while the Network Status LED signal is present in the M.2 interface.
